What are Composite veneers?
Composite veneers are created using a tooth-coloured resin which is applied and sculpted directly onto the teeth. These may be slightly thicker than other types of porcelain for example, but they require very little preparation work before applying them so you’ll find yourself with an elegant new smile in no time!
For small chips or cracks, composite veneers are the perfect solution. These problems can be fixed by covering only part of the tooth instead of the whole thing with resin.

How long do Composite veneers last?
Composite veneers generally last 3-10 years before needing replacement or repairs in some other way. The longevity depends on lifestyle choices like which foods they eat and how often they brush their teeth; these impacts will also vary person by person so it’s important not to get too discouraged if one doesn’t work out well!
How much do Composite veneers cost?
The cost of composite veneers will vary depending on the number and complexity of teeth you want covered. At most cosmetic dental practices, prices range from £200 to 600 pounds per tooth. At Spa Dental, our veneers start from £495.
When Composite veneers shouldn’t be used
As with most dental veneers, there are some things that will need to be considered before taking the plunge and having Composite veneers.
If you currently grind your teeth, veneers are probably not the most suitable option for you – especially composite veneers as they are not as durable as other types of veneers.
Your teeth need to be in good shape before you can think about composite veneers. For serious cracks and chips that could compromise the integrity of your tooth, dental crowns will provide more support for it and prevent future cracking or damage from happening again!
