Here at Spa Dental Clinic we are a passionate and highly qualified team offering the latest dentistry with pride and excellence. The staff here at Spa Dental Clinic work closely together to ensure our patients have the best experience. This starts with our reception team who always make sure our patients feel welcome and relaxed as they enter the Practice. When going into the surgery you will then be in the care of our caring, highly professional nurses and dentists who will always make sure to give you treatment of the highest standard and making sure you feel comfortable during your visit. We always aim to ensure our patients leave the Practice happy with the service they have received.

Practice Principals
Dr Nazia Alyas
Nazia took over the practice in 2012 with Murtaza Kaderbhai. Their vision has been to focus on providing unparalleled patient care.
Nazia graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2006, and has a Diploma of Medical Education from the University of Wolverhampton, and completed her MJDF at the Royal College of Surgeons in London and a PGcert in Dental Law and Ethics from University of Bedfordshire. Nazia is our lead seditionist here at the practice qualifying in 2009.
She is very good at accommodating her patient’s needs. Nervous patients especially will appreciate her kind and caring approach to dental care.
Dr Murtaza Kaderbhai
Murtaza took over the practice along with Nazia in 2012 with the same vision to excel the practice, the team and to give excellent patient care.
Murtaza graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2006. MFDS in Edinburgh and has a Diploma of Medical Education from the University of Wolverhampton. Patients best know Murtaza as Taz as he is very upbeat, friendly and able to put even the most nervous patients at ease.
Our Dentists
Basim Munir
Basim qualified with a Bachelor Of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Baqai Medical University in Pakistan in 2011 as well as this he had completed his MSc in 2022 from Ulster University. Basim has been with us since 2022 and has displayed a great range of skills to provide the best possible care to patients. Basim has been caring and empathetic to all his patients, which relaxes the more anxious ones. Patients and especially nervous patients are always happy and satisfied with his caring approach.
Asim Ghafoor
Asim graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Khyber Medical University, Pakistan, in 2021. Following this, he completed a one-year house job at Rehman College of Dentistry from 2021 to 2022, gaining valuable clinical experience. Asim is passionate about patient education and oral health, he takes his time to ensure each patient feels comfortable and informed about their treatment. With a gentle and friendly approach, he strives to make every visit a positive experience, helping patients achieve and maintain a healthy smile.
Dr Hasnain Kanani
Hasnain graduated from University of London 2016 BDS. PGdip. Hasnain first started at the practice as a Foundation Dentist, he soon proved to be popular with both staff and patients alike. After completing his Foundation year, Hasnain chose to join us as an Associate Dentist. He shown a great interest in Implantology, to which he went on to further his education soon becoming a qualified Implantologist. Hasnain shown a keen interest in this field of dentistry.
Dr Sameer Janjua
Sameer graduated from the University of Leeds in 2012. BChD. He is one of our Implantologist here and has been with us since early 2020. He has shown to be well-liked by our patients and staff here at the practice. His experience shines through with his knowledge of dentistry and the creation of his work. Sameer is best known at the practice as Sammy
Dr Natasha Fraz
Natasha qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2018 with a clinical distinction. Natasha started at the practice in 2022 and has shown great enthusiasm to provide the best possible care to our patients. Natasha aims to an empathetic, non-judgemental and caring approach to her patients, which means she excels in seeing more anxious patients. Natasha has shown great commitment towards furthering her knowledge and has undertaken further training in composite restorations, bonding, crown and bridge work. She has a keen interest in endodontics and is about to embark on a PgCert in this field.
Grace Mullett
Grace qualified from the University of Cardiff in 2022 BDS (Hons). She has been a massive hit with all of our patients since she started here with us in 2023. Grace has shown great commitment in furthering her knowledge as she recently embarked on a C-Fast course early 2024 and looks to continue this journey into facial aesthetics eventually. For now, Grace is known to be our family dentist at the practice. We are excited to see where Grace’s future takes her.
Rafia Begum
Rafia graduated from University for Birmingham in 2019 BDS. She is known for her compassionate approach, particularly excelling with anxious patients by creating a calm and comfortable environment for them. Her thoroughness and dedication to her ethical care that ensures that every patient feels supported and well cared for. Rafia has undergone further training in Invisalign, composite bonding, allowing her to offer a wide range of cosmetic and restorative dental treatments.
Ridwan Khan
Ridwan started at the practice in 2024 after qualifying from Palacký University Olomouc in 2020. He has slotted into the team perfectly and proven to be well liked by our patients. Ridwan has recently qualified from The Campbell Academy in Implantology, in which he is excited to bring his knowledge into the practice, he show great enthusiasm to provide the best care to our patients.
Daanish Rehman
Daanish started back at the practice this year! after working with us briefly back in 2024. He qualified from University of Szeged, Hungary in 2021. We are more than happy to have Daanish back at the practice. Daanish is keen on cosmetic dentistry and is developing his skills in whitening, composite veneers and aesthetic cases with amazing results for his patients.
Nazim Shah
Nazim qualified with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the Queen Mary University of London. He has gone on to further his skills set with a Diploma within Implant Dentistry, Level 7. This has led to him becoming our senior Implantologist. As well as implants, he has a great interest in composite bonding and cosmetic work. Nazim always shows a keen interest in furthering his knowledge wherever he can.
Vishal Klaire
Vishal qualified in 2011 from the University of Liverpool BDS. He has since furthered his knowledge in the field of Endo, rewarding him a PgDip in this area of dentistry. Vishal has become a great member of staff here since starting with us early 2024 as our Endo Specialist. His experience shines through with his knowledge of dentistry and the creation of his work.
Zarafsha Nawaz
Zarafsha qualified at Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy 2021. Zarafsha started here with us in 2025 and has been a huge hit with the team and patients. Zarafsha has special interests in surgical extractions and sedation and is currently working towards her implant degree. She looks forward to meeting all her patients and helping them achieve their dental desires.
Our Management Team
Phoebe Stanley
Phoebe joined us in 2016 as a trainee dental nurse, she soon excelled in this role which led to her promotion of Head Nurse. After a short period away from the Practice, Phoebe returned as the Practice Manager in 2020. Phoebe is always there for her team and is dedicated to ensuring the smooth running of the Practice.
Sian Allsop
Sian joined us in 2019 as a trainee dental nurse and quickly progressed from qualified to Head Nurse. She is a very popular, hardworking and reliable member of the team, which makes her an ideal choice to become the new Assistant Manager. Sian has a lovely bond with both staff and patients at the practice.
Matthew Perry
Matthew is now in his 22nd year at Spa Dental Clinic; during this time, he has covered nearly every role. He is an asset to the team and is always there when needed. Matthew is a well-liked member of staff and very popular with our patients.
Our Nurses
Natasha Glover-Winfield
Natasha is best known at the practice as Tash. Tash joined us in 2018 as a trainee dental nurse and qualified in 2023. She is a valuable member of our team, bringing laughter and happiness with her. Tash mainly works at the practice alongside her dentist, Dr Taz and together they see a lot of Invisalign patients which she enjoys doing as she loves helping others achieve their dream smiles.
Nicola Wilson
Nicola is a long-standing and valued member of the team since joining us in 2004. She is very organised and hardworking. She has built up a good rapport over the years with patients and it is always nice to see them when they return for their appointments. She has seen the practice progress and grow over the last 20 years in line with patient needs and is proud to work within the committed team here at Spa Dental Clinic.
Georgina Saunders
Georgina joined us in 2021 as a receptionist and soon showed interest in becoming a trainee dental nurse, which she strived at and is now qualified. She has took very well to the role and has proven to be very popular with both staff and patients. Georgina has shown a keen interest in surgical and implant procedures.
Scarlett Fanos
Scarlett started at the practice in 2023 and has taken to the role extremely well. Scarlett is now qualified and her journey so far has been really interesting, and she is excited to continue on with her career. She feels passionate about making each and every patient welcome and ensuring they have the best experience at Spa Dental Clinic.
Lauren Liu
Lauren joined the practice in 2023 as a trainee dental nurse. Lauren gets along with all staff and patients, it’s been a pleasure watching her grow as a person, as she makes a kick start into her career in dentistry. Lauren has been taking an interest in implants and enjoys the more surgical side of dentistry. We are excited for where this could take her in the future.
Chloe Biddle
Chloe started here at the practice in 2024. She has taken to the role very well and is enjoying her time here learning a new role. We are happy to have her here and excited to help her along with her Nursing Career. Chloe is a valuable member of the team, her bubbly personality brings us lots of laughter throughout the working day.
Daisy Poole
Daisy joined us this year, she has fitted into our big team like she’s always been here. She is keen to start on the dental nursing course, and is already learning so quickly! We are excited to watch her grow at Spa Dental Clinic.
Millie Phillips
Millie joined us this year and has really took on her role very well. Patient love her and she has been assisting our dentists with an array of treatments. She is always willing and helping patients and her colleagues alike. Millie is excited to start her qualification to become a dental nurse.
Treatment Co-Ordinator
Amy Rhodes
Amy joined us in 2021 and quickly qualified in 2023 as a Dental Nurse, soon showing interest in becoming our new Treatment Co-Ordinator. Amy dived straight into the role in 2023 and has made the practice known as an Invisalign provider. She works very closely with our clinical team to enable the best possible outcome for all our patients. Amy is a lovely member of staff and works extremely well with her patients.
Our Reception Team
Julie O’Rourke
Julie has been with us since 2018, she quickly proved herself a reliable, capable, and caring member of staff which has led to her current role as the Head Receptionist. Julie is a key member of the team, always making sure reception runs smoothly and efficiently.
Erin Lamond
Erin is the newest member of the team, joining us in 2024. She brings such a bubbly atmosphere to reception with her every day. She shows great promise for the future here at Spa Dental Clinic. We look forward to working alongside Erin with her journey in dentistry.
Julie Taylor
Julie is part of our growing reception team, starting with us in 2022. Julie enjoys her role within the practice and loves working with her fellow receptionists. She is passionate about providing all patients with a positive, comfortable, and relaxed experience when attending at the practice. Julie is a highly valued member of staff at the practice. She also takes it upon herself to provide us with endless amounts of chocolate and treats.
